Art was always part of my life even as a young child with my Mother being a Commercial Artist! While she was painting I was drawing! (Spaceships, Cars with Machine Guns and things that were suppose to resemble either a cat or dog!)
Art continued all through school with awards and scholarships and honors in high school. Then on to studies at Miami University in Fine Art & Photography and then on to Ohio University with some focus on Interior Design.
Plans were to follow up at University Of Cincinnati in the field of Architecture but, took a left turn and got into something called “Computers”! After that I pursued the Data Processing career with numerous years within the IT field.
Later after years in the (IT) Information Technology field I returned to my passion of Art!
My focus is on Contemporary Art such as you would see in Corporate, Medical and Hospitality/Hotel types of settings.
My media choices include Acrylics but, primarily Wax based. I have developed a Love for Encaustic Wax and Cold Wax Medium.
